LIJIANG OLD TOWN RESORT
AGON was engaged for this 5-star, 300 room, hotel and condo development in the United Nations' World Heritage city of Lijiang, China for Project Development services.
AGON's initial role was to complete a business plan including detailed financial projections, facility programming advice, and construction and development budgets.
AGON also provided operation design briefs and management consulting advice for the future ongoing operations of the hotel with Technical Assistance services. Based largely on AGON's early planning works, the now award-winning hotel celebrated its Grand Opening on October 1, 2009 as the Crowne Plaza Hotel Lijiang Ancient City. With its superior planning and high quality of finishes in place, the hotel was upgraded to be flagged as the InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort in 2015.
